LA IRMS (and LA CRDS) – the minimally destructive alternative for in-situ single/repeat/sequential stable isotope analyses of solid or liquid matrices

Dr. Ciprian C Stremtan from Teledyne Photon Machines presented this well received oral presentation on LA-IRMS at Goldschmidt 25 yesterday.

The technique has been driven by a three way collaboration between Teledyne, Sercon and Terra Analitic.

Ciprian’s contribution yesterday described to the testing using an HS2022 IRMS via a CryoFlex sample preparation module, both from Sercon. The laser hardware used was a 213nm system from Teledyne. An isoScell Δ100 (Terra Analitic, Romania) sample chamber, specifically designed for LA IRMS and commercially available, was utilized for all analyses.
